The drone lives on! Our first drone flight of the season at the awesome Morakot Hong at Ko Mok, Thailand! I was a little nervous flying above the cliffs but pulled it off even though my fingers were shaking a bit.

One year ago I had the fantastic opportunity to join the Delos crew when sailing in the Philippines. For one month there was a mum on the boat (me!), and it all went so well.
My first solo night watch and the sky is a blaze like a scene from dooms day! Delos and I motor forward through man made volcano’s of the Brunei oil rigs.

The crew departs from Ternate and makes the 5 day sail to Davao, Philippines! Along the way we stop at an underwater volcano, get more awesome visits from dolphins and whales, and settle down in the Samal Island Marina in Davao. We have a few parties, do some work on Delos, and start exploring the amazing Philippines!

The Delos crew were lucky enough to be invited into the loft of Super Sailmakers in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. They show us the process of making quality cruising sails and become our new partner!

After our awesome equator crossing the crew lands on the island of Ternate! We meet the locals, go to a rap competition, clubbing, visit a sultan’s volcano retreat, and have lot’s of other adventures!
I glance to my left and see a middle aged woman dressed in brightly colored Malaysian garb.
The crew finally crosses the equator and is back in the northern hemisphere! The shellbacks (Brian and Brady) put the pollywog girls (Phoebe, Karin, and Josje) on trial for their crimes against Neptune.
After two incredible months in Raja Ampat the crew pulls up the hook and sets sail for Ternate Island in the Muluku Province.
