Before crossing the Indian Ocean the crew sat down to figure out a route and game plan. We needed to get from Asia to Africa, avoiding the worst of the weather and making the most of the monsoon season and trade winds. So, we sat down with two very old school technologies.
Our worst nightmare! What happens if we get a fire onboard or our hull is breached by crashing into something at sea? We take a few minutes to explain to our new crew how to react and the important things to do to save Delos!
It was this time just about a year ago. Delos was in Thailand and we were preparing to cross the Indian Ocean. There are lots of stories about this immense body of water floating in the cruising community.

The crew is complete!! Brady, Josje, and Babs are on the scene in Langkawi! We do a massive provisioning run and fill Delos’s bilge with duty free beer, wine, and chocolate. With Delos in tip top shape we hoist sail for Thai Waters:). We hope you enjoy Babs Video Debut!
