After the untimely demise of our Phantom 2 due to a close encounter with a palm tree, we were drone-less for an excruciating few months toward the end of last season. 🙁

A heard of wild elephants is too hard to pass up for Delos, so when we heard a rumor of an island on the remote West Coast of the Andamans we immediately set sail!

We have a boys day girls day! Brady, Brian and Max take the dinghy on a river adventure back to the town of Mayabunder in order to get a permit to visit Interview Island.
After Delos is destroyed by volcanic ash we do our best to clean up the mess and get the hell out of dodge! We sail to the funny little town of Myanbunder, eat some butter chicken and grab some fresh veggies.

Scuba diving in a very remote island in the middle of the Andaman Sea. We stern hook Delos to the cliffs, break out the dive gear and do some incredible diving.

Sailing through the Andaman Islands! We leave Port Blair after checking in and set sail for Havelock Island to begin our island hopping adventure.
Our worst nightmare! We discuss with our new crew the steps to take should we be forced to abandon Delos. We talk about our ditch list, mayday calls, our liferaft, and the things we’d grab with us before abandoning ship.

We had the chance to sail on a mahogany old school beauty! She is sleek, fast and so fun to sail. SY Chancegger was built for the 1970 Americas Cup for Baron Bich, the man behind Bic pens and lighters! She is 28 tons with an overall length of 19 meters.
WoooHoo!! Sweet, sweet sailing!!! Our first passage of the Indian Ocean crossing takes us from Thailand to the Andaman Islands, India.
Before setting sail to cross the Indian Ocean we perform a LIVE man overboard drill with The Braidster as our subject. He accidentally falls off with a survival kit while checking the fishing lines.
