We are currently 260 miles out of Opua, still making 8+ knots. Should make landfall sometime Friday morning! We have all got our sea legs back and are moving around more. Erin even cooked an amazing chicken-french-onion soup tonight.
Something crazy happened last night….We all had to put on socks. It had been a year for Brian and Erin and over 7 months for me. The temp in the boat is only 68 but it feels much colder outside. We have also changed up our watch schedule from 3 hour shifts to 4 which gives each of us 8 hours off twice a day – not too bad.
