Having safe drinking water on the boat is a obviously a non negotiable, and the process of ensuring our tanks are fit for the job turned out to to be a BEAST! If you didn’t get enough tank action in the last two episodes, we’re back with the water tanks this time. Having dialed in our methods of sealing on the fuel tanks though, our focus here is a bit different. With the water tanks we need to make sure they are treated properly so that they will be safe to drink out of (we definitely don’t want to drink out of raw aluminum tanks!). It’s a loooot of prep work, and we end up brining in the pros on this one since having clean and safe water is not something we want to experiment with. The whole process is pretty cool, and it’s also an important step to tick off our list before we can move on to the next phase of the build where we can actually start putting in floors, bulkheads, and cool stuff like that!
