Was sailing through hurricane season a bad call??? This is our second brush with a named hurricane in the last month, will we get lucky again?
We’ve found ourselves in a bit of a tricky spot. We’ve been northbound for the last couple months since transiting the Panama Canal trying to make our way up towards the northern part of the Sea of Cortez to try and escape the hurricane season in this part of the world. But now we’re smack dab in the middle of one of the most active and earliest Pacific storm seasons…so now we pretty much have no choice but to keep moving, choose our weather windows carefully, cross our fingers and hope for the best.
