There’s two types of sailors- those that have run aground and those that will! We set out to find our friend Torpedinho’s place, which is located up a shallow river, only to find the entrance a maze of shallow sand banks. The GPS coordinates are a little off and we run smack into a sandbank trying to cross the river bar. To make matters worse Delos is being smashed by a running swell beam on, and bashing her keel so hard the entire boat shutters with every impact. It takes some quick thinking but we are able to use the bow thruster and engine thrust to pivot her bow into the swell, and eventually back to deeper water.
