Nope Nothing To See Here

The experiment continues 🙂  Thanks for all the feedback on our last Slow Tv episode!   For this one we strapped the camera just above the cockpit.  It’s one static view 40 minutes long of Delos beating upwind from Trinidad to Grenada.  The idea behind these videos is to provide a relaxing, ambient experience with natural audio and no editing.  Something to relax to, put up on your flatscreen or second monitor, and just zone out and watch the world go by.

BONUS VIDEO!!!  This is a bit of an experiment, and you are the guinea pigs he he 🙂

On a recent sail we were inspired by a TED talk on the concept of Slow TV.  The idea is to capture an experience from a point of view over a long time span.  In this case we were exploring the Maroni river in French Guiana.  We hooked up a few Go Pro’s on Delos and let them run until the battery went dead.  We also recorded the audio separately with our external microphone.  

The video is 3 hours and 40 minutes long and meant as ambient background with audio.  Maybe put it on the TV while you eat or a second monitor while you work.  I dunno but hope you enjoy!

Happy Thursday Patrons!! We wanted to start your weekend off with something super special that has come up 🙂 After a few of our patrons joined us in Grenada for sailing school with LTD we couldn’t wait to pass on another sweet opportunity for us to get together with you! Before taking Delos out of the water we dove in Grenada for a few months and became good friends with the guys at True Blue Bay Resort and Dive Center. We came up with a little plan that is a win win for everyone, AND gets us together! We want to invite you to fly down to Grenada and go diving with us! This is both for those of you that are certified divers and those of you who want to learn to dive!!! 

Unfortunately, we WILL NOT be sailing or diving on SV Delos because she will still be on the hard.…..BUT, the good news is, you will be staying at the same awesome resort that we are during this time, so plenty of time to dive together, hang out, and share some stories!!

This trip is for both certified SCUBA divers AND those who want to get PADI open water certified! It’s a really sweet deal 🙂
